This is an absolute beautiful horse. Big, solid, extremely lite in the mouth and very comfortable. He has a puppy dog social friendly way about him. He comes to you willingly, drops his head for his halter and follows you wherever you go. His barn manners are primo and he is a licking loving kind horse. He is more than nice looking . . .he's a looker! His head is like a picture and his eyes are very sweet with kindness.

The right rider would be a tall person, weight does not matter. A nice ring rider that is easy with their hands. A cross country rider that is bold and confident to their place. A hunter person that is also bold and confident to the jump. A dressage rider ready to go 2nd level and possibly move up fast into 3rd.

Hudson is doing 2nd level movements currently. Hudson has a beautiful trot with a very comfortable canter. His flying changes are impeccable and they look like he should be doing Grand Prix. This is a good adult eq horse or someone schooling 2nd level wanting to move up together with their own horse. Hudson shows lots of promise as he gets fitter and fitter with me.

Hudson is a 3' horse. With good footing, out in the field he could do higher. He follows well in the hunt field and has ridden as a hilltopper, then moved up to 2nd flight, lead the field and then moved up to first flight on the way home. He was fine with the hounds.

Hudson is an easykeeper. He turns out very well with horses and is great on green lush pasture. He can live in / out situation pleasantly. He will talk to you in the morning and run to you at the fence.

This horse is not for a kid, or a jr. rider. He is being sold due to the owner not being able to pay for his upkeep and illness in family. This horse is too much for the owner. He's a fine horse and he's priced to sell NOW.

Note to the foxhunters reading this: If you decide you want to buy Hudson to hunt and he does not turn out to be what you needed, I will take him back and sell him for you under the conditions: you pay full board and my riding time to keep him going.

If you have a trainer, please have him/her call me to discuss your needs for your next horse. Inquire for price on Hudson. 631 767 4972 , Gina
