This is the most beautiful bay. His head is striking with the kindest eyes and what a neck on him. He is a mush and loves attention. This is a tall leggy horse with extremely comfortable gates. I've had him since he was a yearling and he's been molded to do it all.

Joey is a SUPERB HUNTSMAN'S HORSE! If you want one that loves the hounds and respects them, he's it. Joey has exercised hounds all last Summer, hunted last year 1/2 dozen times and is currently foxhunting in a staff position this year and also riding in the field. He's hunting twice a week consistently. He doesn't miss a hunt. He will do all the Hunter Paces this season and also foxhunt until sold. He trail rides during the above off days and is schooled in the ring jumping courses and sometimes gives kids lessons when available.

This horse is VERY VERY QUIET. You can ride this horse and crack a whip off his back. You can fly thru the woods leading other horses with him blowing the horn off him. You can have dogs/hounds under your feet with him. You can ride and run with the deer with him. You can put a little kid on him and he takes total care of them. References to prove. A CD Video to show you all above. You can put someone that has never ever ridden a horse on him, he will shine . . . . He rides in all disciplines in a happy mouth rubber snaffle and the same on a hunt. He has a lite mouth and he would prefer a lite handed rider as well. We ride with our seat on Joey and quite frankly, while flyin through the woods on him, I never use my reins . . .don't need to as he is trained to the movement of your seat/body!

On the hunt: Joey is superb. Great up front, fine in the field and good hilltopping as well. He stands quiet at the check. He can whip in. We are currently laying the scent for the hunt. This should show you what a good confident boy he is to go off in hunt country alone and wait for the pack to catch up.

On a Hunter Pace: You will ribbon!
He will give you his heart and keep going to please you and will clear every jump with gusto. He's a great babysitter and leader.

At a show: Shown dressage this past Summer and took reserve Champion twice and ribboned all other times. People comment on his brain, looks, movement and temperment.

On the trail: Joey is perfect alone and with company. You can ride him with a group, pull him away and go home with him. This horse has been ridden on trail with kids & seniors and has no issues. You can ride up to deer and run with them as Joey likes them.

In the Ring: F A N T A S T I C! You can set up a course, take him to it and he will clear everything you put in front of him! With incentive, Joey will do his changes. We are schooling the flying change. He will get it on his own, no reason to push him . . he's a natural.

ON THE ROAD . . .totally road safe, doesn't matter what's coming at you . . . . he's bombproof with a capital "B".

NO NASTINESS & NO VICES. Joey is kind and sociable. Joey would make a great family horse. He's broke western for dad to ride on a trail, A kid can ride him, mom can show or hunt him. He's comfortable, obedient and an absolute pleasure to ride! Joey is the easiest horse to catch. He comes to you willing and ready to work. Joey will go for you all day and works great with praise. Words alone cannot describe his pure genuine trust with people. I raised him since he was a baby and he has no fear due to my training. He goes places with confidence and does what you want him to do. He can be lead 'Anywhere'. He is the most adorable horse with gentle curiosity. This is NOT a spooky horse! He moves like he belongs in the dressage ring. His canter is like a cadillac . . .he jumps naturally like a gizelle. He has Sport Horse written all over him. He's Lean, tall and leggy. He has the papers, the breeding and now just needs the right family to share all these great qualities.

Joey will load in any kind of trailer willingly. He stands for mounting blocks like a gentleman. You can clip him on cross ties and he'll fall asleep. This horse flats nicely in a ring with any and all crazy stuff going on around him! Kids riding ATV's, dogs chasing him, tractors going & coming, you name it . . . . will not phase this quiet boy. This temperment is a trainers dream. He stands tied to trailers, cross ties, etc. NO VICES . . .

These Quiet, Tall Leggy Quarter Horses are very hard to come by, you know . . the ones with a BRAIN, adorable looks and nice movement! Yes . . . . this horse has the movement the dressage people look for! . . . . So, this could be your next eventing horse. He's the ultimate Sport Horse.
